KÖLBL KRUSE LIVING has built the residential project LIVING ONE on the last residential plot of the GRUGACARREE site. The GRUGACARREE is a popular Essen office and residential location in the lively and hip district of Rüttenscheid. With its wide range of facilities and the direct proximity to the Grugapark, one of the most beautiful parks in the entire Ruhr area, it offers all the advantages of a location that help to improve the quality of life. The area is characterized by its location, the very good traffic connections, the already existing high-quality architecture. The project LIVING ONE comprises a total of 84 properties, which offer individual floor plans on a living space of 90 up to 235 m². The design of the two identical buildings was developed by the architect Dr. Hermann Klapheck. Through the south-facing glass facade, all apartments have light-flooded rooms. LIVING ONE’s equipment highlights include triple-glazed windows, generous balconies or loggias, as well as controlled ventilation to ensure a comfortable room climate. The ceiling-high interior doors over the entire room height of 2.64 meters, modern bathrooms and the flexibility of the ground plans belong to the further peculiarities. The outstanding architectural quality of the object was awarded in 2015 with the architecture award of the city of Essen. And the corporate design of LIVING ONE has also been awarded the red dot award in the communication design category.
