From May 2006 to September 2007, KÖLBL KRUSE built the largest office complex in Duisburg’s inner harbor for Hitachi Power Europe GmbH. The Hitachi Power Office was built on seven floors, a powerful building in the form of a block battery for around 600 employees. The entire building was designed according to the requirements and needs of the tenant by the architectural office Bahl + Partner Architekten BDA. From the flexible room concept with maximum floor efficiency to the furnishing of the light-flooded offices. The glass façade, a representative entrance hall as well as a library, characterize this unique building. The special highlight are the two large atriums. The attractively designed courtyards are a welcome place to meet and relax for Hitachi employees. Two underground car parks with more than 200 parking spaces as well as 355 outside parking spaces offer enough space for employees’ cars. The Hitachi Power Office enriches Duisburg’s inner harbor with another impressive property from KÖLBL KRUSE, which enhances the exclusivity of the site.
