FREIHEIT 1 is more than an ordinary office building. With its top location right next to the main railway station and the city centre, our historic, cityscape-forming building blends harmoniously into the Essen skyline. The eight-storey building is one of the first skyscrapers in the city and has been listed as one of the historical high-quality buildings from the 1950s. As a result of the extensive revitalisation of the property, FREIHEIT 1 now shines in new brilliance. The façade has been extensively renovated with natural stone in a historic style, triple-glazed windows with interior roller blinds and a new cooling system have been installed. The interior fittings and the room arrangement were expanded according to the tenants’ wishes.
