With the construction of “THE SUMMIT” the companies GIB mbH, pmdtechnologies ag, ifm services GmbH, ifm software GmbH and ifm solutions GmbH merged to form the largest high-tech center in South Westphalia. The earthworks for the new laboratory and research building in the Martinshardt industrial estate started in August 2017, and the tenants moved into their new offices in March 2019. The building extends over five floors and has a total of 13,376 m² of gross floor space above ground. Connected to the project is a separate, extendable multi-storey car park with around 295 parking spaces.
The conference and training areas as well as the research and laboratory wing offer space for 450 employees, with an extension option for up to approximately 600 workstations.
