The construction work on the new office building for the Unfallkasse NRW in Düsseldorf-Oberbilk started in October 2017. The overall completion of the office building with a gross floor area of almost 20,000 m² in an inner-city location will take place in the third quarter of 2019. The seven-storey building, designed by the renowned Düsseldorf architects RKW Architektur + Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky GmbH, has space for 500 employees. Here, Unfallkasse NRW will concentrate its branches, which are currently spread across two locations within Düsseldorf. The building is designed in its structural and technical components for certification according to DGNB Gold. The Essen project developer KÖLBL KRUSE has been awarded the contract for an EU-wide tendering procedure.
